BUDOKON YOGA

From the Budokon Mixed Movement Arts.

Slow and controlled movements, designed to improve mobility, agility, flexibility, and strength. We practise DEEP CELL LEARNING through repetition and precision, with an emphasis on the TRANSITIONS between and beyond traditional yoga postures.

the BDK FLOW CLASS

follows the Budokon Yoga Primary Series, made up of 7 sections including animal crawling patterns. Think “YOGA cross-training” for muscular strength, cardiovascular stamina, and joint mobility, drawing on MARTIAL ARTS, CALISTHENICS and ANIMAL LOCOMOTION.

Every few weeks we spotlight a specific section to keep the focus on excellent technique, which is fundamental to the Budokon way. The 75 minute class ends with 10-15 minutes of Sitting Meditation and/or Savasana.

Budokon Yoga is a modern yoga style which unites the ancient tradition of self enquiry with modern mixed movement.
